May Millions of lamps Illuminate your life with
Endless joy, prosperity, health and wealth forever…
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Diwali!
Diwali means happiness and celebrations with rows of lighted lamps. It is a Hindu festival where people worship Lord Ganesh for good welfare and prosperity and people also worship goddess Lakshmi for wealth and wisdom. This festival is celebrated in the Hindu month of Kartik which falls in October or November months. It is celebrated to mark the return of Lord Ram from 14 years of exile and his victory over the demon Ravan. In Many parts of India this festival is celebrated for 5days. For Hindus it is the most important festival and a new year too. The official name of this festival is “ Deepawali”.
So this was a short introduction to what Diwali in India means. I love to dress up during this festival as it’s the only time where we all can just over dress and celebrate. Every year I go for heavy anarkalis but this time I have changed my mind to lehengas and long skirts. So today I will be showing some good options this Diwali to opt for. I have opted for a pink and royal blue lehenge choli for this Diwali. I was just bored of wearing all reds this season. You all can also go for some new colors this season then just wearing reds around. During Diwali my mother’s jewelry always comes in rescue. I opted for a heavy outfit with a jewelry set which included neck piece and earring as well as a mang tika. Now I am not that comfortable wearing a mang tika so I avoided. Fashion to men is comfort, so guys please suit yourself with your own Diwali outfit then copying the trends. Hope you all enjoy the photographs below!
Wishing you all again a HAPPY DIWALI glowing with peace, joy and prosperity!
Lots of Love,
